Ebner Stolz offers holistic research funding consulting with Arttic Innovation GmbH
Tax-based research funding is a first in the funding landscape.
- Tax consulting for research funding requires consulting expertise in state aid law as well
- Cooperation of the expert teams of Ebner Stolz and Arttic Innovation GmbH
- Comprehensive advice for maximum aid promotion
The Research Grants Act adds a new tax-based funding option to the existing project funding provided by the federal government, the states or the European Union. Companies face the challenge of identifying and then applying for the right research funding for their specific project.
The auditing and consulting firm Ebner Stolz has established a cross-location team of experts consisting of auditors, tax advisors and lawyers to provide comprehensive support for the new tax incentive option. However, in order to provide clients with holistic advice on the use of subsidies, the company cooperates with Arttic Innovation GmbH, a company of the PNO Consultants Group.
PNO Consultants has become one of the leading innovation and research funding consultancies in Europe with around 400 employees in seven EU member states. For 25 years, PNO has specialized in the instrument of tax-based research funding and benefits from the experience of its European subsidiaries in the introduction of the new German instrument.
“Together, we develop custom-fit solutions for our customers and clients in connection with the classification of individual research and development projects under aspects of state aid law and the implementation of all necessary measures to obtain the respective funding,” Martin Theis, auditor, tax advisor and partner at Ebner Stolz in Bonn, describes the cooperation. “When it comes to the tax hurdles, we rely entirely on the expertise of Ebner Stolz,” Anne Baumgärtel is pleased to say. “We see the identification and formulation of eligible research projects as our technical contribution in this collaboration.”
