Federal Ministry of Education and Research publishes Certification Body for Research Grants (BSFZ)
In the issue 22/2020 of the Joint Ministerial Gazette, the Certification Body Research Grant (BSFZ) was published and announced by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) on July 31, 2020.
The BSFZ is formed jointly by VDI Technologiezentrum GmbH, AIF Projekt GmbH and the German Aerospace Center (DLR). The locations of these posts will then be Bonn, Berlin, Düsseldorf and Dresden. The design of the FSOC is underway and contact and application information as well as handouts and application form will be published in a timely manner.
In the future, companies will apply to the Research Allowance Certification Office for certification of the R&D projects that are to benefit. The office checks whether the project is eligible for funding within the meaning of the Research Grants Act. After approval, an application for a research allowance is submitted to the relevant tax office. You can find more information here.
