Dr. Melanie Carevic-Neri

Working as a project manager for ARTTIC Innovation is truly fascinating as it allows me to be at the forefront of ground-breaking developments in research and innovation and the opportunity to collaborate with scientists and researchers from diverse fields within global consortia. The dynamic nature of the role, coupled with the organisation’s commitment to driving positive change, creates an environment that is both challenging and inspiring. My expertise extends beyond project management to include effective communication and dissemination of project outcomes. This allows scientists to fully focus on advancing their research projects.

My educational background is in science, featuring a biology degree and a PhD in immunology received from the University of Tübingen. During my doctoral studies and subsequent postdoctoral work at the Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin, I particularly valued engaging in international collaboration and pioneering research. Working with ARTTIC, I value the fact that, despite leaving the scientific field, I am still closely connected to the latest research outcomes. It brings me joy to have found a way to continue supporting innovative and transformative projects as they become a reality.
