Dr. Martin Dietz

The implementation of innovative ideas in national and international cooperation projects became the focus of my activities when I joined ARTTIC in 2006. Initially as a consultant, later as a senior consultant and now as a manager of ARTTIC Innovation GmbH, I accompany our clients and partners along the entire innovation cycle together with my colleagues: from idea and sharpening of the original idea into a project, through concept development, the funding application process, to the management and implementation of the resulting project.

Through my training in research and my work in science management at a large research center, I realised the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration in solving complex problems. Supporting such collaborations, ensuring they work well and that these already start during the conception of the project, is the only way to pave the way for innovations and develop solutions to major societal challenges. – This is what makes our work so diverse and enriching.After studying biology with a major in biochemistry and a doctorate in molecular biology, I worked for several years as a consultant to the Scientific Director of the GSF – Research Center for Environment and Health, now Helmholtz Munich, and then headed the patents and technology transfer department.
