After more than a decade of continuous dealing with the complex and challenging world of research funding, I consider ARTTIC and myself as a specialised generalist and flexible problem solver. Supporting the development and implementation of multidisciplinary collaborative projects, both practical, conceptual and strategical, is what makes my job so diverse and meaningful. In my professional career, I have gained in-depth knowledge regarding the identification and analysis of funding programmes, project design and application, as well as the strategic and operational management of complex European collaborative projects.<\/p>\n
Due to my participation in numerous projects of the most diverse formats in multiple functions, I have the ability and enthusiasm to constantly dive into unknown fields time and time again. My professional expertise and personal interests are mainly in the field of disaster risk management and civil security research. That is where I feel at home, but in recent years I have also become increasingly familiar with energy and climate as well as the transport and aviation domain.<\/p>\n
Before joining ARTTIC, I worked for a total of 8 years at Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe e.V. as a project coordinator for European disaster management. I hold a master\u2019s degree in Anthropology, Geography and Political Science and during my studies I mainly focused on the field of Political Ecology and International Development Cooperation.<\/p>\n
